Our goal
We want Military Retirement Runway to work for everyone who is retiring, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, or a magnifier. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard that Section 508 points to.
What we have checked
- An automated WCAG 2.1 A and AA scan (axe-core) of the home page, the planner tabs, and the About, Privacy and Terms pages found no failures on October 7, 2026.
- Scrollable tables can be reached with the keyboard.
- Pages declare their language and work on a phone-sized screen.
What we have not done yet
Automated scans catch only part of the problems. We have not yet had a full manual review with screen readers or a third-party audit, so we do not claim full conformance. Some charts are visual, and we show the same numbers in text and tables next to them.
